excellent variety of food and drinks, perfect location to explore town, well-priced accommodation
Lift access could benefit from clearer signage!!! Unmarked doors and complicated layout hinder navigation!!! Improve soundproofing to mitigate door noises at night!!!

I enjoyed a cozy double room with brilliant shower pressure, great view, and the delightful vibe of the pub below. The pizza I tried was surprisingly tasty. Would definitely recommend checking it out!
Felt really like home, no complaints.

Had a fabulous time! The lift was a lifesaver for my wobbly legs, and my room was a delightful little haven—spotlessly clean and comfy. Plus, the quirky pub below is a total treat.
Though I didn't realize I was sharing my room with the entire Scottish football team—sound insulation could use a bit of polish! Apparently, sleep isn't a priority here.

I stayed in a Twin Room and it was super spacious and really clean. The walk-in shower was amazing, plenty of room to get ready. Loved the mirrors and lighting in the wardrobe area too. Just felt nice and cozy overall. No issues with noise even being close to the town center. The only downside was the wifi—it was a bit slow. Otherwise, a solid stay!

Comfortable stay with great staff
I had a pleasant one-night stay in a family room, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They offered us milk alternatives and were attentive to our needs, making our experience more comfortable. The location was convenient, being close to the town center and within walking distance to the harbor and beach. it would be great if the wifi connectivity was improved for better convenience.

perfectly situated for exploring local attractions and parks
I recently enjoyed a weekend stay that was made all the better by how easy it was to walk to nearby attractions like the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and Kinnaird Head, both just a short stroll away. the accessibility of these landmarks allowed me to immerse myself in the local culture while enjoying the beautiful park views along the way. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a nice retreat after a day spent exploring, but the hotel could use better clear signage and some attention to staff training to enhance the overall experience.

I spent one night at Saltoun Inn and found it charming in many ways. The twin room offered everything I needed, and the price at just 40 pounds was a steal. Everything worked seamlessly, including the Wi-Fi, which isn't always the case in hotels. The cleanliness was impressive. I've stayed in four-star hotels that were dirtier. I tried the pizza at the restaurant, and while it wasn't extraordinary, it was decent enough. Breakfast wasn't included, but the kettle and snacks in the room were a nice touch. The hotel gets a thumbs up from me, and I’d definitely choose it again when I’m in Fraserburgh!

Comfortable Stay with Great Dining
Enjoyed a three-night stay in a cozy double room. The standout was the restaurant. every meal was excellently prepared. A must-try is the mixed grill. Staff offered helpful recommendations, making our time memorable. Pro tip, consider dining in instead of exploring nearby options.

Room 204 is small with exposed carpet grippers, leading to a painful experience when I cut my foot. The noise disturbance from other guests was unbearable, significantly diminishing my comfort. The location is excellent, but the lack of soundproofing and better maintenance really detracted from my stay.
